Clockaudio's new Retracta Mics disappear when you don't need them, pop up when needed.
Clockaudio

introduces the next generation of corporate friendly products with the
CRM-100-RF Omni and CRM-102-RF Cardioid "Retractable" table mics.
As a follow up to the already popular C011E-RF Tamper
Proof Omni and C012E-RF Cardioid through table Mics, the CRM-100-RF and CRM-102-RF takes
aesthetics and performance to the next step.
The
CRM100-RF is a boundary layer through table omni directional condenser
microphone, with a built-in mechanism that will allow the user to make
the microphone disappear without having to physically remove it from
the table. This is achieved by simply pressing the top of the
microphone downwards until it locks; then by pressing the microphone
again it will raise itself back to its original position above the
surface of the table. Engineered in high quality brass with built-in
shock mount and RF filter. Standard finish: Black Nextel or Satin
Nickel.
The CRM-102-RF is the Cardioid version of the new Retracta Series.

Sony is now shipping the industry’s first 1080i high-definition videoconferencing system.
The new PCS-XG80 system combines 1080i resolution and a high frame rate of 60 fields per second to deliver superb live video quality and a very natural alternative to face-to-face meetings.
Its backward compatibility gives users the option of connecting with HD video quality through the growing number of high bandwidth connections or through standard-definition legacy systems, which comply with industry standards, over IP and/or ISDN. In an industry first, this new system also features BrightFaceTM, Video Annotation, and RF Remote functionality.
From PowerPoint® and animations to live DVDs, users can also seamlessly share PC data in HD at 30 frames per second. Dual stream functionality lets users send two separate parallel streams of live, HD information.
Both live camera view and animated PowerPoint data, for example, can be displayed in HD on two different screens or projectors at a remote site.
Featuring six-site multipoint conferencing, users can call up to five other remote sites to simultaneously meet, with multi-language support for 20 different languages available through easy-to-navigate menus. Wide band stereo audio also enhances the overall meeting experience for users with crisp and clear sound.

Renkus-Heinz introduces IC Live, a new product line that applies the company’s innovative Iconyx Digitally Steerable Array technology to live event production. “Originally designed for permanent installation, Iconyx arrays have been used for charity galas, corporate presentations and concerts throughout Europe and the US,” says Renkus-Heinz President Harro Heinz.
“IC Live meets the needs of PA rental companies, with high output steerable array configurations and a versatile hardware system that is optimized for portable applications.” IC Live is engineered to supply natural, musical and intelligible sound for live events from meetings with background music to high-energy theatrical productions and concerts.
“Vertical pattern control is often the key to providing good sound in difficult conditions,” says Renkus-Heinz Senior Vice President Ralph Heinz. “Line arrays have become the accepted way to achieve vertical control, but of course the smaller the box, the shorter the line and the less control the system actually has.
With IC Live, we have turned the line array on its end and applied digital steering technology to deliver better vertical pattern control and reduce sidewall reflections with few cabinets.” With the interlocking hardware system, IC Live users will be able to quickly and easily assemble four array configurations from two components: the full range IC Live array module and the ICL215S subwoofer.
The IC Live module incorporates five neodymium 6.5-inch cone woofers and threeneodymium compression drivers on purpose-designed waveguides. A multi-channel DSP/amplifier controls each transducer individually. Complex signal processing shapes the array’s output and steers it in the desired direction. Steering the sound and not the box, the enclosure remains vertical, keeping sightlines open with a tall, narrow profile.
