Cambridge Sound Management (CSM) Introduces New Sound Masking Control Modules
Cambridge Sound Management has augmented its already popular direct field sound masking product line up with introductions of their new Qt 200 and Qt 600 Wall OR Rack Mounted head end controllers.
Touted as one of the Greenest products in its category (Greenspec Listed) from a current consumption standpoint (8 Watts will cover a 30,000 Sq. Ft area), Cambridge has gotten the attention of many large companies to provide sound masking to all sizes of office facilities, office waiting rooms, medical offices, etc.
CSM's new Qt 200 will handle Masking, Paging, and Music in smaller projects from 1 to 2 Zones, up to24k sqft, and up to 240 speakers.
The new Qt 600 will handle Masking, Paging and Music from 1 to 6 Zones, up to 72k sqft., and up to 720 speakers.
The Qt 600 is designed for medium to large projects with zoning granularity requirements. Used for average sized zoning (appx 100 spkrs per zone), applications include sales call centers, private offices, HR Departments, Accounting Departments, lobbies, etc.

And when not in use, simply push the unit back into the table.

Clockaudio's Litetouch is a NON-mechanicaldual-color Halo ring and switch
combination that can be used with all Clockaudio through-table products except the CRM Retracta. The Litetouch allows users to identify easily the status of
microphones, as well as mute the units for privacy. With no moving
parts, the switch is touch-sensitive, so there are no clicking noises
when switching from one status to another.
Both the switch and the Halo
have been designed to operate remotely with all popular brands of
electronic system control, so an integrator has complete freedom to

ListenPoint is a unique
small-room collaboration system, one that brings
together multiple audio sources to put anyone in the room right in the
center of the sound.
When a large PA system is impractical,
ListenPoint
may be the answer.
You don't have to strain to be heard and they
don't
have to strain to hear you. Information is shared clearly and powerfully, which is exactly how good communication should happen.
ListenPoint
systems are available to be designed as individual components or as a
pre-assembled packages.
The components simplistic design consist
of a Control Unit , Room Module which can be amplified
(60w or 120w) or passive and have two or four mic inputs, and a Multi-Function
Microphone which can do a series of functions including volume, source

Sony/Spire Debuts XG55, SG-TL80, SG-TL55
Sony unveiled
its newest high-definition video conferencing technology, the PCS-XG55
system, designed to bring flexible, high-quality and affordable visual
communications to a range of commercial applications, including
corporate, education, heartache and government.
The new system combines up to 720p/60 fps for superb live video
quality and a very natural alternative to face-to-face meetings. It
includes the PCS-XG55S HD codec unit, the PCSA-CXG80 HD camera unit,
PCS-A1 microphone and PCS-RF1 RF remote commander.
The new system has the ability to deliver higher image quality and
smooth video motion by using innovative "BrightFace" high-frame rate and high-resolution codec (1280x720
60fps/30fps) camera technology.
The system's includes a newly developed real-time adaptive contrast
optimization technology that uses brightness information in each pixel
and optimizes the contrast in an images bright and dark parts
separately. This is a key factor in creating clear pictures and optimal
color tone for a range of room environments, including low-light and
back-lit situations.

introducing a streamlined 1080/60i small form-factor camera to
complement Sony's high horsepower PCS-XG80 and best-in-class PCS-XG55
video conferencing endpoints.
The combination delivers Sony-quality HD video conferencing in a
design well-suited for personal video conferencing and small meeting
environments with two to three people.
The camera, designed using Sony's stunning HD camera technology,
includes a built-in microphone enabling clear, natural audio while also
delivering sharp, crisp images.
"We're excited about the TL-series and the flexibility it will afford
our customers. The 10x optical zoom camera and built-in microphone make
it an ideal solution for the executive desktop as well as for small
meeting spaces, medical patient care, and smaller groups in distance

The SG-TL80 is capable of full 1080/60i video at speeds up to 10MB as
a standard feature. The system can host a six-site multipoint call,

whether the system is in a video conference or not.
The SG-TL80 lists for $8,999, and the SG-TL55 lists for $5,999. The

year.
IC
Live is now shipping! Introduced last year, IC Live is
the next generation in Digitally Steerable Line Array Technology, and
designed in a robust, HIGH OUTPUT package.
IC Live represents a
serious entry into the compact, high output Live and Corporate Staging
and Rental markets.
The IC Live Mid-High Module consists of 5 x
6.5" high output cone woofers and 3 x 1" Neodymium HF compression
drivers on purpose-designed waveguides. A multi-channel DSP and
amplifier controls each transducer individually. Complex signal
processing shapes the arrays output and steers it in the desired
direction. Steering the sound and not the box, the enclosure remains
vertical keeping sight lines open with a tall, narrow profile.
The
IC Live has 10 on board presets that can be utilized for fast
reconfiguration and an optional wall plate (IC-RC-1) can be utilized to
control the IC Live in a permanent install application (IC Live is
available in an installed version also).

Renkus-Heinz is the ideal solution for today's small and mid-sized
venues, including auditoria, night clubs, theaters and houses of
worship. With the flexibility to be flown, ground-stacked or
pole-mounted, the CF/CFX101-LA delivers the performance and pattern
control of a line array, with the clarity of a point source system, in a
compact, sleek and affordable design that's equally at home as a
portable system or a permanent installation.
Up to four CF/CFX101-LA cabinets can be arrayed to
provide a 90x60 degree coverage pattern, delivering up to 9 dB more
