Manufacturers Representative firm Cardone, Solomon & Associates has announced the appointment of Jim Zagryn to the newly created position of "Regional Technology Specialist".
Jim brings 16 years of Engineering, Design and Project Management skills in the AV market place. Jim is accredited with the ICIA's CTS-D rating. He is fluent and has worked extensively with all of the leading DSP platforms currently deployed in the AV Market space.
The appointment comes after evaluating the next logical phase in CS&A's continuous evolution and commitment to provide their customers with the best client support and in constant step with the advancements of technology in the AV Market.
Jim's role will be to continuously educate our valued customers with updates and advancements in software and hardware in the DSP realm, conducting in depth training classes at the dealer, technician, consultant and end user level, provide real time technical support and design review to our our clients via phone, as well provide on site assistance as required.

Spire Global, and a recent press release.
At the recent INFOCOMM Show in Orlando, CS&A was made aware of a press release regarding Spire Global, the exclusive Master Distributor for SONY's Video Conferencing products, and a manufacturer of acoustic echo cancelling DSP products announcing a strategic alliance and a "bundle" or "packaging" of some of the two companies products.
The press release was not issued by Spire Global.
Cardone, Solomon & Associates is an Independent Manufacturers Representative for Biamp Systems based in Portland Oregon.
The company that Spire has entered into this strategic alliance with, and who is based in Salt Lake City, UT. manufacturers competing products to Biamp's acoustic echo canceling products from Biamp's Audia and Nexia family of DSP products. Biamp Systems is also currently involved in litigation with the Salt Lake City based company.
Because of CS&A's long representation of Biamp Systems, CS&A can not support and will not sell any such bundles associated with the Spire and other manufacturers "Bundle".
CS&A will continue to sell and support the full line of Biamp Systems offerings as well as the full line of SONY Video Conferencing products distributed by Spire Global up to, but not including the recently announced "Bundles".

Cardone, Solomon & Associates (CS&A), announces that Allan Carr who started with CS&A in 2001 as a Regional Manager for the Upstate New York region, has been promoted and will assume responsibility for the Eastern Pennsylvania Territory effective April 1, 2009.
In June of 2007 Allan was assigned the Western portion of CS&A's Pennsylvania region (The North Eastern portion of PA) as part of a territory expansion. His progress and adaptation to the faster tempo of the new region so impressed principals John Cardone and Michael Solomon that giving Allan the rest of the geographic region would be a natural fit.
As part of the reassignment, Allan will still maintain some key accounts in the upstate NY region, and turn several accounts in the New York to Burlington VT. corridor over to Richard Trombitas, CS&A Product Manager.
Located in Cornwall, New York, Rich Trombitas is geographically positioned to assume the new accounts with no impact to his existing account base.

Manufacturer representative firm Cardone, Solomon & Associates has hired Richard Trombitas in the role of Regional Product Manager. He will provide CS&A with increased demonstration services, dealer and end user product training, as well as regional account tech support. Due to his extensive design-build experience, he will also assist clients with on site project evaluation and design assistance.
Trombitas brings 35 years of design, installation, and product support experience to the position. Most recently, he served as Northeast Territory Representative for the Professional Systems Division at Bose Corporation. During his 7 years with Bose, he provided in-field, commercial product tech support, product training, and design assistance. He was named to the division’s prestigious Summit Club in both 2006 and 2007 for excellence in sales.
Prior to his years at Bose Corporation, Trombitas launched the design/installation division at KVL Audio Visual Services, Inc., a New York-based national a/v firm with a strong presence in the hotel and events staging markets. The design/installation division conceived and implemented by Trombitas afforded a qualitative expansion of services offered by the firm.
By age 19, he had started his own business, 21st Century Sound, Inc., a highly respected regional touring sound company and a/v contracting firm, which operated successfully for over twenty years. The company provided a wide platform for Trombitas’ audio/video skills and talents, boasting a roster of clients as diverse as New York City’s famous Red Parrot and retail giant Macy’s, to the festive San Gennaro feast and the venerable New York Athletic Club.

| July 2007- CS&A 10th Anniversary Weekend Celebration! |
CS&A reached a milestone on July 14th marking our 10th year in business. To commemorate this event, a weekend celebration was held for all employees and their spouses.
The weekend provided an opportunity to have all at CS&A to spend quality time together with our spouses outside of the business environment, relax, enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery, and share musical skills at impromptu jam sessions inside, outside, or under the moonlit evening skies.
Commemorative silver etched plates were issued to the CS&A staff acknowledging their individual and team contributions, effort and dedication to CS&A's 10 years of success. Plates were issued to Priscilla Drake Solomon, Allan Carr, Bob Strauss and Ken Valentine.
