Northport, NY May 19, 2008
Manufacturer
representative firm Cardone, Solomon & Associates has hired Richard
Trombitas in the role of Regional Product Manager. He
will provide CS&A with increased demonstration services, dealer and
end user product training, as well as regional account tech support. Due to his extensive design-build experience, he will also assist clients with on site project evaluation and design assistance. Trombitas brings 35 years of design, installation, and product support experience to the position. Most recently, he served as Northeast Territory Representative for the Professional Systems Division at Bose Corporation. During his 7 years with Bose, he provided in-field, commercial product tech support, product training, and design assistance. He was named to the division’s prestigious Summit Club in both 2006 and 2007 for excellence in sales.
Prior
to his years at Bose Corporation, Trombitas launched the
design/installation division at KVL Audio Visual Services, Inc., a New
York-based national a/v firm with a strong presence in the hotel and
events staging markets. The design/installation division
conceived and implemented by Trombitas afforded a qualitative expansion
of services offered by the firm. By age 19, he had started his own business, 21st
Century Sound, Inc., a highly respected regional touring sound company
and a/v contracting firm, which operated successfully for over twenty
years. The company provided a wide platform for Trombitas’
audio/video skills and talents, boasting a roster of clients as diverse
as New York City’s famous Red Parrot and retail giant Macy’s, to the
festive San Gennaro feast and the venerable New York Athletic Club.
“I see Cardone Solomon & Associates as a perfect fit,” notes Trombitas. “The line card is superb and I look forward to the opportunities inherent in representing these product lines.”
CS&A
Principal John Cardone states, “The addition of Rich to our staff adds a
new dimension to our abilities to service our client base. He has worked with several consultants, sound companies and integrators alike. He
will add more depth to our companies technical support requirements,
and has a genuine zest to learn new technologies and disciplines. We welcome Rich into the CS&A family. It
is a great career move for him, and our clients will benefit from his
vast knowledge. We're very lucky to find a great talent like Rich”

| SurgeX Goes Green- First with RoHS |
| SurgeX first to go Green Pennsylvania, USA
SurgeX, the worlds leading
manufacturer of professional surge eliminators and AC power
conditioners, announced that their product line is now RoHS compliant
and is the first in this product category to do so.
“This effort on behalf of SurgeX ownership,
engineering and material procurement has been a long process, but we are
extremely proud of this important milestone for our company” said
Michael McCook, SurgeX Senior Principal.
RoHS
stands for ‘Restriction of Hazardous Substances’ in electrical and
electronic equipment. The RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC was
adopted in February 2003 by the European Union and took effect on 1 July
2006. This directive restricts the use of Lead

Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE) and Hexavalent Chromium.
Andy
Benton, SurgeX Director of Engineering adds, “At SurgeX, we're not
satisfied with just being a technology leader, we strive to be a leader
in every way. Being the first US power conditioner manufacturer to
embrace RoHS is just one more in a long line of firsts for us. But then
on the personal level, it makes me happy to think that our products no
longer contain harmful materials such as lead and will not pose a threat
to future generations."
“With all the new Green initiatives our industry
must now adopt in terms of RoHS and LEED, I would expect nothing less
from SurgeX to be the first manufacturer to come in line with these
necessary requirements. We are happy SurgeX has understood
what needs to be done to continue to be the market leader in this
segment” says manufacturer rep John Cardone of New York based Cardone,
Solomon and Associates.
SurgeX has
been producing AC Power products for the professional A/V marketplace
and Industry for over thirteen years and is located in Pipersville,

| With todays demanding corporate enviornment, typical conference rooms serve as multi-purpose spaces. Some by-products of this are conference tables that have to accomodate for laptops, catering trays, and a multitude of objects that can destroy a typical steel mesh capped button mic. With input from the consultant and end user communities, Clockaudio has created the ultimate equalizer for those destructive objects.
The C011E-RF and C012E-RF were also designed sonically to be as close to a matched pair as possible to their Clockaudio C003E-RF Omni and C004E-RF Cardioid counterparts. So in a retrofit situation, there will not be a need to re-EQ your automixers.
