At this years INFOCOMM, CS&A's manufacturers came prepared for everything except the 110 degree heat (yes, but it's a dry heat!).

But on the show floor the heat outside took a back seat to the hot new products that were shown inside.  Several new ground breaking and innovative products were introduced.  Please click on the PDF to the right and download the recap

CLOCKAUDIO Releases "Tamper Proof" Button Mics
Clockaudio C012E-RF
Clockaudio C011E-RF
With todays demanding corporate enviornment, typical conference rooms serve as multi-purpose spaces.  Some by-products of this are conference tables that have to accomodate for laptops, catering trays, and a multitude of objects that can destroy a typical steel mesh capped button mic.  With input from the consultant and end user communities, Clockaudio has created the ultimate equalizer for those destructive objects.

The C011E-RF and C012E-RF were also designed sonically to be as close to a matched pair as possible to their Clockaudio C003E-RF Omni and C004E-RF Cardioid counterparts.  So in a retrofit situation, there will not be a need to re-EQ your automixers.

CS
&
A has been hired by newly formed Spire Global to represent them for the North Eastern United States.  Spire Global has assumed all aspects of sales and marketing of the SONY Videoconferencing family of products.

Spire is headed up by Joe Sorrentino.  Joe prior to Spire was VP of Worldwide Sales for Clear One, and prior to that he held the same position at Polycom.  Sorrentino has assembled a very strong team of seasoned veterans that fully understand the industry from a US perspective.

John Cardone stated,
"After our initial meetings with Sorrentino we felt that they had their finger on the pulse, and had a solid plan in place to bring SONY's VC division to a place in the AV space it hasn't ever been to.  But as we do with all potential new manufacturers who approach us, it's not just selling my partner Michael Solomon and I, it's selling the concept to our team.  We make no decisions regarding new manufacturers coming on board without a unanamous vote from the team.  They all have a say in the ultimate decision, if it's not an across the board yes, than we will not bring that company in to our portfolio.

We met with the Spire team at INFOCOMM.  After that meeting we polled the group to see how they felt about Spire, and it came back thumbs up from all.  Mike and I were very impressed, but we needed to have our guys see and hear what Spire was about with their own eyes and ears.  As we expected, all were quite impressed and wanted to take the challenge."
